We want to make it easy and smooth for you to get your newly handcrafted item, wood care products, and Cardinal Valley swag. This is why we offer multiple shipping, local pickup and delivery methods.
Local Pickup
Local pickup is available at our home workshop in Halifax, Nova Scotia at no additional cost.
Local Delivery
Based on our schedule, local delivery is available between Halifax and other Nova Scotia regions. At the time of order please select the appropriate local delivery option and we will contact you within 24 hours to schedule a delivery time.
HRM Delivery - $7.50
Delivery between Halifax and Annapolis Royal - $10
Delivery between Halifax and Lunenburg/Bridgewater Area - $20
Delivery between Halifax and Truro - $25
Shipping
Canada Post is used for the majority of shipments across Canada, the USA, and internationally. Shipping is calculated based on the destination, weight, and size of the item.
Other shipping services might be used for larger pieces, such as furniture (shipping method and cost will be determined during the quoting process).
The majority of Cardinal Valley branded clothes and accessories are shipped only and not available for local pickup/delivery. These items are made to order and are shipped directly to you from the manufacturer. Making these items to order helps to reduce overproduction by avoiding bulk stock purchases.
Returns
All custom orders are final sale. All custom orders come with a warranty and we offer full repair services on all products we craft. Visit the Repair and Warranty page for more information.
All “as-is” items are final sale.
All in-stock items have a refund and return policy that lasts for seven days after delivery. If seven days have passed since delivery, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
Clothing items have a return policy that lasts for 14 days after delivery for either a refund or exchange. If 14 days have passed since delivery, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (if applicable).

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and the original form of payment will be credited.

If your return needs to be shipped back, arrangements will be made when you submit your return request.
