Danish cord is a premium material used to create strong and durable seats and backrests for furniture, particularly seen in high-end Scandinavian and Mid-Century Modern designs. Danish cord weaving is a skilled and time-consuming craft. The time required depends on the total area to be woven and the complexity of the pattern, with items typically taking between 4 to 25 hours to complete.
Despite its strength and durability, Danish cord can be susceptible to damage from pets, prolonged exposure to weather, and old age. If the cord becomes loose, snaps, or is cut, we recommend having it replaced.

Convenient Drop-Off and Shipping Options
Furniture can be dropped off or shipped to our home workshop in Halifax or Upper Granville, Nova Scotia. We also offer pickup and delivery options within Nova Scotia for an additional cost.
